URL Abbreviation Fail

Not only is this site completely barren but the url, I can only assume, is an abbreviation of the keyword “attorney”. Obviously they wanted that url but couldn’t get it so they decided to get the “liscense plate” version. To my knowledge, abbreviating keywords will only help you show up for that exact abbreviated search. Because the url can have a huge impact on the performance of a sites rankings, this url is worthless if they are trying to rank for the keyword “attorney”.

Longest URL Fail

Sure these guys rank well for the keyword “longest”, but a url this long is certainly not user-friendly. Having your main keyword in your url three times might help you rank for that keyword (or it might just come across as spammy to the search engines), but it is definitely not a practical web address for your visitors.

This has got to be one of the worst websites I have come across in a while in terms of SEO. Practically nothing about this site would benefit them in the Search Engines. Here is a clip of their ENTIRE code:
I especially love their “meta keyphrases” and the “indexALL” in their meta robots.

Just because you’re in Mexico that doesn’t mean you can just throw up a super crappy site with a huge list of keywords right in your footer. I guess this site never got that memo.
